Dr. Matt Dean grew up in Montgomery, AL, where he attended St. James High School. He went on to graduate from Auburn University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from UAB. Following dental school, he completed a hospital dentistry residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, and later returned to UAB to obtain his certificate of specialty in endodontics.
Dr. Dean met his wife, Kim, while in dental school, and the two married in March 2017. In March 2021, they welcomed their first son, Theo. Outside of the practice, Dr. Dean enjoys playing music and spending time outdoors.
Kaitlyn was so nice & sweet!! Dr. Dean was great! He explained everything & I got scheduled for treatment! I highly recommend Dr Dean/Endodontic Associates!

My wife had a root canal done on one of her front teeth. It took less then an hour and she was very pleased with her experience from Dr. Kim Dean. Not that either of us want to have a root canal done, but from her 1st experience at a different facility, it was like night & day. If needed, we would come back here again.
