"My appointment was scheduled for March 24, 2026 nearly a month away. But due to my extreme pain and having to leave on a trip in a day or two, they work me in the very next day on February 26. Everybody was very kind and gracious to me. Dr.Matt Dean did my root canal.I was in and out in about an hour and a half. Kim Dr. Dean’s assistant was very efficient and kind to me. Within 24 hours, my pain had subsided nearly 95%! again, I want to thank Endo Associates for their kindness in working me in the very next day. Thank you, Dr. Matt, Dean and Kim for being so kind to me!!!"

"Everything went very well. Dr. Kim Dean did an outstanding job on my the root canal. She explained the procedure in great detail and then asked if I had questions. She was always checking in with me and quickly recognized whenever I was feeling uncomfortable. She and her assistant, Rachel, alleviated any feelings of anxiety by responding with kindness whenever I indicated that I needed to take a break. "First time I had ever visited Endodontic Associates, was referred by my general dentist for a root canal.Dr. Matt Dean is awesome. He explained what was to take place with my root canal. During the procedure, absolutely zero pain. About an hour and He was done.You hear nightmares, all your life about people having root canals, But this was one of my best experiences with a major dental procedure.Total professionalism from Dr. Dean. "Dr. Mathew Dean and staff were excellent.After the root canal I was in a little pain but not severe. Tylenol and warm salt rinses helped my mouth heal.I don’t remember his assistant name but she gave me Instructions for post op care.It was not as painful as I assumed it would be. If I have any other problems I know where I can come for help."

"People often think that we dentists don’t have tooth problems but that is not true in my case! I am very fortunate to know Endodontic Associates and now especially Dr. Kim Dean. My tooth went from not hurting at all to hurting very badly. They got me in very quickly and finished my root canal in time for me to see my afternoon patients.Today (one day later) my tooth is symptom free. Thank you guys so much!"

"The staff was very welcoming and professional. Brielle the dental assistant listened to my concerns and explained everything to me in detail. I was there for a root canal retreat. Office was clean and up to date. Great location and easy to find. Dr Matt Dean was great!! He introduced himself and gave me an explanation as to what was going on and the treatment plan. He also found another area that needed a treatment that I was unaware of. Very frustrating for cost reasons but glad that he found it before it started giving me trouble. A little pricey with dental insurance but most dental procedures are. Overall, good experience."

"The staff and Dr. Kim Dean are fantastic!! I had an abscess with a tooth that I had previously had a root canal. She opened the crown and found that I had an extra root. She removed it and treated the abscess. About 6 months later it abscessed again and I was able to get in quickly and Dr. Dean was very thorough with explaining her recommendations for the tooth. Her staff scheduled me with an oral surgeon for the next step. I highly recommed Endodontic Associates in Trussville."

"LOVE this office. I have to travel out of MS to Endo Associates and will continue to do so with any work I may need in the future. Dr. Dean is a fabulous Endodontist and has some fine tuned skill.My first root canal for myself was extremely nerve wracking and scary - Dr. Dean eased my fears and as he promised he would stop if I felt anything. He had to inject 3 different kinds of numbing due to my tooth being very inflamed and “hot” and didn’t not proceed until I was WELL numbed.I had a 2nd root canal done by him just yesterday - again I was scared going into it, but again Dr. Dean made me feel relaxed and in good hands. Even on the “ok, this is going to be a big stick” I never even felt the needle sticks. Dr. Dean has amazing hands/skill as an Endodontist!!I also appreciate that he does not do the heavy involved work on a tooth unless it absolutely needs it!I am so thankful for Dr. Dean and his team! "I was referred here by my dentist for a root canal. Obviously, this is a dreaded appointment for most people, but this practice made it very easy. I knew how much I was going to owe several days before my appointment so that I could be prepared. I saw Dr Matt Dean, and he was fantastic. He has a very calming and laid back demeanor that put me at ease. His assistant was incredibly nice and also made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely go back there again in the event that I need more dental work."
"Dr. Kim Dean and her staff were awesome during my first time visit. I drove from Montgomery. They made me feel welcomed and at ease. Alexis even apologized several times because I got an X-ray done and the mouthpiece hurt my mouth a little and even though it wasn’t her fault, she kept apologizing for the discomfort. She really cared about my wellbeing. I was there to get a consultation to see if I needed a root canal. They don’t try to just take your money because I ended up not needing a root canal and she was very honest about that. I recommend them 100%."
"I went in for a root canal, nervous to the point of tears. Dr. Matt Dean and the assistant made sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable about the procedure. The numbing needle was the worst part, but even it wasn’t that bad. They turned what I thought would be a terrifying, painful experience into the complete opposite. "My regular Dentist found that I needed a root canal about 7:30. I called Endodontic Associates- Trussville shortly after 8am and they were able to give me a 9am appointment. The Checkin was painless and I was taken back soon after I arrived. They took care to explain what was happening at every step along the way. Dr. Kim Dean took time to update me on everything she found in my x-ray and what to expect before, during and after the procedure. The procedure itself was practically painless and I’ve had zero soreness since. That has not been the typical experience with root canals I’ve had in the past. I highly recommend them for any endodontic procedures you may be facing."
